AI in Writing: Permission, Process, and Practice

When: Thursday, September 25 at 11:30am - 12:30pm

AI chatbots don’t just support writing—they are writing, sparking ideas, smoothing sentences, and speeding research while also raising profound ethical questions. In this interactive workshop for students, we’ll reflect on what we risk losing if we let AI think for us, then explore institutional permissions and practical strategies for using AI responsibly. You’ll leave with a clear framework for verifying, attributing, and balancing AI’s power in your writing without letting it replace your own voice.
